August 12 - What are you watching/listening to? with Debbie Rothschild

On the heels of our successful book discussion, we’ll be sharing what we’re watching and listening to. Please come with the series you’ve been hooked on or a podcast that makes you walk one more time around the block. Or just come to listen!

We had another lively discussion about what we’re watching, listening to, and reading--because it inevitably always goes back to books. See these amazing suggestions that should hopefully keep us riveted for far longer than the pandemic. We also found out that Hadassah Magazine is a great resource for books and ideas!

August 19 - Women's Rosh Chodesh Class with Ora Davies

"Elul: Seeking Connection with Hashem in Times of Disconnection"

It was a pleasure to learn the text of psalm 27 "L'Dovid Hashem Ori Viyishi" together. We begin reciting this psalm two times a day from Rosh Chodesh through Shemini Atzeret. As we looked at the text, we were struck by the many messages relating to our experiences in quarantine, particularly a longing to connect with Hashem, a desire to understand Hashem's ways, and a reminder to continue to pray and hope for a better tomorrow.

August 26 - A Culinary Trip to Israel with Linda Kirshstein

Cook your own Israeli adventure and join us for an evening "out" on Zoom. If you're an expert at Israeli cooking, you might want to challenge yourself with some new recipes. If you're new to Israeli cooking, dive in and enjoy the flavors. *Cooking is not required.

September 2 - Games People Play with Marcie Rosenberg

It’s game night and we can all play in the comfort of our home!
